Home
Where everything lands, and where everything starts.
Not only the people you follow.
Your feed mixes ratings and playlists from people you follow with posts from people you do not, so it has something in it from the first day. Pull down to refresh.
Everything starts with the plus.
Top right of Home. One button for a new rating, marking an album listened, adding to your queue, logging a concert, or adding to your collection.
React without leaving the feed.
Like a post, open its comments, or repost it so it shows up on your own profile.
Rating albums
One score, and as much or as little to say about it as you like.
Rate albums, not tracks.
Open any album and tap Rate. One score out of ten. That is the whole thing.
Review your way.
Write up to 500 characters, record a voice note of up to 20 seconds, or film up to 60 seconds. All three are optional, and you can use more than one.
See where you stand.
Every album shows the average score and a 1 to 10 histogram of everyone else. Press and hold a bar to see how many people landed on that number.

Not ready to score it?
Add the album to your queue for later, or just mark it listened without giving it a number.
Concerts
A permanent record of what you saw in person.
Every concert, remembered.
Log a show with the artist, the date and a note about the night. Rate it out of ten the same way you would an album.

Concerts sit under Ratings on your profile, behind the Music and Concerts switch — they are not a separate list.

Your collection
The records on your shelf, in the same place as the rest of your taste.
Track what you own.
Mark any album as owned on vinyl or on CD from its page. Your collection is built from those marks, so it stays in step with what you rate.

The Collection list splits three ways, and the count on your profile covers everything you own.

Playlists
Albums grouped however you feel like grouping them.
Make lists for every mood.
Build a playlist out of any albums, give it a title and a cover, and add a caption if you want to explain yourself.
Post it, or keep it.
Posting a playlist puts it in your followers feeds. Leave it unposted and it stays on your profile for you.
People and conversation
The part that makes a feed worth opening.
Find your people.
Search covers music, artists and users at once. Follow someone and their ratings start landing on your Home.

Private if you want it.
Switch your account to private in Settings and new followers need your approval before they can see anything.
Talk about it.
Comment on ratings, playlists and concerts. Reply once deep, like a comment, attach a photo, and @mention anyone to pull them in.
Discover
What everyone else is on, when you want out of your own bubble.
See what the world is playing.
Four lists: what your friends rated, trending releases, the most rated albums, and the playlists people are opening.
Narrow it down.
Trending can be set to a single country or left worldwide, so you can see what is big somewhere else.

Follows, likes, comments and mentions. If your account is private, follow requests sit at the top waiting for a yes or no.
One album a day.
A Daily Pick drops into Activity once a day to keep your listening from going stale. Announcements from us arrive here too.
Your profile
What someone sees when they want to know your taste.
Your taste, on the record.
Counts for ratings, friends and collection at the top, with a bio, your name and your age if you choose to show it.
Favorites and pins.
Pick the artists and albums you want to be known for, and pin two things — a rating or a playlist — above everything else.
Your lists.
Queue, Listened, Ratings, Collection, Playlists and Friends, each one tap from your profile.
Settings and Plus
The dials, and what changes if you pay.
Free, with ads.
SoundCheckd Plus removes them, unlocks a coloured username and adds a few extras. The app works either way.

Settings holds your language, appearance, privacy, and the button to delete your account and everything in it.
